Hi ABM,
That was an interesting approach to take! The mystery in Revelation is there to keep Satan from over-reaching God’s plans, if I understood you right. You might elaborate on the idea of Satan being always a day late and a dollar short in understanding what Jesus would do while on earth. Were you saying that Satan also thought that Jesus was planning to become a king there and then, and in misunderstanding His purpose, was wrong-footed so as not to able to impede the real plan?
I enjoyed the reference to Genesis 49 and its possible impact on Revelation. I had long forgotten what it said, and was amazed to read the negative comments Jacob made about several of his sons. It would really hurt me to have to say things like that about my own boys!
So far, I have only listened to the first clip, but I look forward to watching the other two and seeing how you develop the theme.
