Hello Brothers and Sisters!
Please lift up your hands for me on the employment front. As many of you know I have had some job issues lately and my old employer agreed to take me back. On monday I have a security interview. These always make me nervous coming from a "guilt culture". Please pray it goes smoothly and I can get my old chair back again. My present job is killing me!
On an interesting side note, another prospective employer who had turned my down for a very prestigious and well paying job expressed his regrets and offered to take me on after all (selected candidate didn't work out ) and very soon. Now, in addition to a peaceful mind in this interview and the long process thereafter. I now ask Jehovah for discernment on what are now two competing offers and patience to pick the right one.
Discernment would help - I have to get the "you know what" out of where I am but don't want to go from the pan to fire so to speak. I am already suffering from one hasty decision.
It is great to have a moment to visit all of you again. Choisest blessings on all here.
Your Brother in Christ
Son Of Korah

May the helper be your companion!

Prayer to Start the Workday
Almighty God, we bless and praise Thee that we have wakened to the light of another earthly day; and now we will think of what a day should be.
Our days are Thine, let them be spent for Thee. Our days are few, let them be spent with care. We pray Thee to shine on this day—the day which we may call our own.
Lord, we go to our daily work; help us to take pleasure therein. Show us clearly what our duty is; help us to be faithful in doing it. Let all we do be well done, fit for Thine eye to see. Give us strength to do, patience to bear; let our courage never fail.
When we cannot love our work, let us think of it as Thy task; and by our true love to Thee, make unlovely things shine in the light of Thy great love. Amen.
George Dawson
Although I posted this mainly for Son of Korah, I thought we could all use this- especially that last line about when we cannot love our work. It ties in nicely with this scriptures:
"Therefore, whether you are eating or drinking or doing anything else, do all things for God's glory." 1 Cor. 10:31
"And whatever it is that you do in word or in work, do everything in the name of of the Lord Jesus, thanking God the Father through him." Col. 3:17
"Whatever you are doing, work at it whole-souled as to Jehovah, and not to men." Col. 3:23
"None of us, in fact, lives with regard to himself only, and no one dies with regard to himself only; for both if we live, we live to Jehovah, and if we die, we die to Jehovah. Therefore both if we live and if we die, we belong to Jehovah." Rom. 14:7,8
Much love,
Your sister in Christ by the Grace of God,
Micah
Here's another one for you, Son of Korah.
Prayer for Help With Finances
Dear God,
I surrender my financial affairs and concerns about money to your Divine care and love.
I ask that you remove my worries, anxieties, and fears about money, and replace them with faith.
I know and trust that my debts will be paid and money will flow into my life.
I have only to look to nature to see proof of the abundance you provide.
I release all negative thoughts about money, and know that prosperity is my true state.
I commit to being grateful for all that I now have in my life.
I learn to manage my finances wisely, seeking help where needed.
And finally, I ask you to help me understand my purpose in life and to act on that purpose with courage and strength. I know that prosperity will come, in part, by doing work I love. Please help me use my skills and knowledge to be of service in the world.
Thank you, God.
Amen

Prayers with you Son of Korah. May Jehovah guide you through your selection process and figuring out what is best.
Wishing you success!!

Your on my list! A side thought however, won't it be nice when we can just talk to Jehovah again instead of trying to figure it out?

Greetings brothers and sisters may you be filled with Jehovah's Holy Spirit this day:
Dear brother SOK, my thoughts and prayers are with you my brother. I had thought you resolved some of these things back awhile, forgive me for not knowing they have continued. I repeat my offer from last time, in fact just so you know, I am moving into Leesburg end of April, maybe we can get together then.
Hang in there and lean on Jehovah as you have continuet to do.
Warm Christian love, brother Fred
