Have you ever wondered why the anointed get a much shorter time-period than the other sheep to get the everlasting life, according to today's understanding?

It have been said that the anointed become qualified during their relatively short life time in this system of things and right after death they go to heaven and become perfect, while the other sheep will have 1000 years to get perfect.

How is it possible for the anointed to get qualified to a such extent?
If it would depend on them selves it would be impossible. But for God all is possible.

But is it really needed for the other sheep to strugle up to 1000 years to get the same spirituality?

From were comes the idea that it would be so? The idea comes from a missinterpretation of Revelation 20:5 wich reads (New World Translation): The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.

Many believe that this do not refer to a litteral resurrection. But why would it not? The context talks of the litteral resurrection.

So, as the verse is about the litteral resurrection, there disappears the basis for the idea that the great croud would have 1000 years to become sanctified. Actually Revelation 7:14 says (New World Translation):“These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
So, at that moment they seem to be the same holy as the anointed before entering the heaven.

This would mean that there will not be any resurrection during the 1000 year reign, but it would occure after the 1000 years.

Who else will come back after the 1000 years for a short while? You know, it's Satan together with his demons. How short will this short period be?

Many believe that Satan was hurled down to the earth in 1914 for a short while. So, would he be back for about 100 years after the 1000 years, because it is considered to be a short while? Doesn't sound nice. Something must be wrong. 3 and half years would be relatively short time. Actually the Revelation talks about a period of 3 and half years wich begins when Satan is hurled down for a short while and ends with Armageddon. This would mean that Satan is not yet hurled down and this 3 and half year period has not begun.

Actually the teaching of developing spirituality to perfection during 1000 years for other sheep is unjust. Additionally it makes people believe they will have much more time to selfdeveloping than they have in reality. So is it a good teaching?

I hope we will finaly come to an accurate knowledge of the truth. This will help us have right direction in our life.

This is an interesting thought Brother J...through my own look at things I too had come to the conclusion that Satan (despite my own teachings from a Roman Catholic mother and Anglican father) has not yet been cast down.

Honestly the "I have tomorrow to better myself" thinking is dangerous, and all together sad. :crybaby: In truth today is all we have, tomorrow is a gift that may not come. So as DP likes to say, LIVE THE KINGDOM NOW. So I do not think that it is a good teaching at all, I think we must seize the day and work to better reflect the image of love that God wants us to be.

I also feel that most people that claim to be these "anointed" are in truth hypocrites put into a position of near worship by men. I think when the time comes that many will be surprised by who emerges clean and who does not. But I do think in general many will be caught unawares.
