Apparently there has been a lot of spamming on this forum lately.

I thought I should resurrect this old post to make certain there is no concern that I am merchandising my book through the link in my signature.

Please rest assured that it is available for free (pdf version) to anyone who wants to read it.

Just like any other link you can find in a posting or signature on this forum.

It is not the same kind of concern as the kind of spammers that have been infiltrating this domain recently,imo.....as you are/is you and them are them...(edited to include:...and me is me...grin.)

that's the concern. :readthis: i would suggest that the moderators simply disable the link -- as has been done for many other spammers -- and, voila! problem solved. but that's just me.

I changed the links in my signature.

Problem is that if you link to almost any kind of Internet venue you are still not far away from google or youtube ads.

Are there any posts or signatures that have youtube or blog links?

If so, I am probably compliant.

No matter how the Internet might be moderated, eventually the time will come when the virgins will have to go away and BUY the oil to fill their lamps.

Perhaps they are away buying some right now?

Just take the links down and stop promoting yourself. You have been allowed enough space on this board as it is.
