Without faith it is impossible to please him well, for he that approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him.--Heb. 11:5 :rose: :rose:

...Faith  a Wonderful thing to talk about
A favorite scripture on faith... :rose: :rose:

''Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and
knowing that something is real even if we do not see it....
It is by faith we understand that the whole world was made
by God's command so what we see was made by something
that cannot be seen....Without faith no one can please God.
Anyone who comes to God must believe that he is real and
that he rewards those who truly want to find him.''
Hebrews 11: 1,3,6 ..... :rose: :rose:

''The Good News shows how God makes people
right with himself--that it begins and ends with faith.
As the scripture says, ''But those who are right
with God will live by trusting in him.'' Romans 1:17 ......It was this scripture that helped me see that faith in God is harmonious with Trusting in God... :rose: :rose::rose:

Faith gives us strength and helps us endure.... :rose:

''We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated.
We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope
of living. we are persecuted, but God does not leave us.
We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed....
So we do not give up. Our physical body is becoming
older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new
every day. We have small troubles for awhile now,
but they are helping us gain an eternal glory that is much greater than the troubles. We set out eyes not on what we see but on what we cannot see.....2 Cor. 4:8-9, 15-18..... :rose:

and finally my favorite  :rose:
''Now, however, there remain faith, hope, love, these three:
but the greatest of these is love.'' 1 Cor. 13:13 :rose:

I believe that faith is a very precious thing. Not everyone has faith and will quickly tell you why they don't. I think that is sad. My faith tells me that God and Christ are good and will always do the good and right thing, and that they are close by always. I also have faith that even tho I am but a small shadow of what I someday will become--a glimmer of my potential reveals itself to me occasionally before the door closes on it again and I am left standing outside of the potential I think I see within myself-- but I have Great faith that someday it will be realized. I believe through my faith of a great and wonderful tomorrow and through hope I believe in a world that will someday be as the world was meant to be....and I believe that the sustaining things of value are just as I Cor. explains--''faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love.'' :heartbeat: :rose: :rose:

These are a few expressions of my own faith and I would LOVE to hear yours :heartbeat::rose: :rose:
Simply beautiful :) And, beautifully simple.
Wolfie, Those were beautiful thoughts. :giverose: Thank you sis.

When thinking on faith, I couldn't help but think that we have such a desire to share it with others.

Act 26:18 to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

What a gift we feel, when Our Father grants us faith in him and in our beloved Jesus. We have been stolen away from the grasp of Satan and we are placed in his wonderful light. As that light heals us from the darkness, and leads us closer to him, we burst with a desire to share it with those who are still stumbling in pain and darkness. To let them know, he is near to them, if they would trust in his love, in his son.

Psa 143:8 Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

May he pour us out as an offering so others too may come to him.

With love
Lynn

I think it bonds us all together like little else--well-maybe a bit of love thrown in too ;) ...You always bring beautiful scriptures with your thoughts Lynn everywhere you go--I know we all appreciate it--and you :cheekkiss:
