I just love this picture and since it was too big to really come out well on the avatar I thought I would post it here....
It does not cover Jehovah's natural creation but it does portray his greatest creation - Jesus the Lord.

13 Now people began bringing him young children for him to touch these; but the disciples reprimanded them. 14 At seeing this Jesus was indignant and said to them: “Let the young children come to me; do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to suchlike ones. 15 Truly I say to YOU, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a young child will by no means enter into it.” 16 And he took the children into his arms and began blessing them, laying his hands upon them.

Yes, it's a very beautiful picture SOK. Where did you get it from? Isn't it lovely to see the way Jesus is depicted in such a happy way. We always see him represented in such a sad, melancholy manner, but I'm sure there must have been so many times, amongst his friends, when he would have been such a wonderful person to have been around. Maybe even a great sense of humour, too! Thanks for sharing it with us.:drinking:

I am certain Jesus had a great sense of humor - Here are things that I think probably made Jesus laugh at least a little...

A - Peter starting to sink during his abortive water-walk

B - James and John wanting to call down lighting on the unbelieving towns

C - The Cana miracle

D - Zaccheus climbing his little body up the tree

At any rate, I really hope I get to see the master in my flesh one day and he looks like this.

Blessings

Yes indeed Jesus openly welcomed children............a certain "society" could learn a lot from his example............if only they could see beyond themselves to the word of God.
Jesus taught us what is really important, and children certainly are.
But they need to have spiritual food that is taylored to their needs, otherwise its a bit like me attending a meeting on nuclear physics...duh! No wonder they get bored and leave in their droves in their teens.

love the pic... God is a happy God and his son was so like his father that we know he is happy too, he didn`t stop the children from coming to him, they were not seen as a nuisance (seen and not heard).
He sets a wonderful example for us to follow, children often feel self conscious and/or insecure, so its up to we adults to make them feel comfortable and secure, as Jesus did.
They are an inheritance after all.
oops i waffled a bit.... anyhow....much love to all as always

This is a beautiful picture. It is a lovely representation of Jesus Christ. It has a certain quality about it that is different to the pictorial images I've been used to. I can't quite put my finger on it. I keep wanting to go back and look again.
love

I also love that picture. Thanks for posting it! It's how I picture Jesus looking. Well, maybe with a bit longer hair!;)
Hi Son of Korah,
I have this exact picture hanging in my hallway.
I cut it out of an art magazine I get quarterly. Matted it in green & cream colors, and a beautiful green marbled looking frame. I just love it!!
