There are many 'Syndromes' that play themselves out in the lives of predators. They will compensate ( in their mind) a good deed for an evil one.

It takes time for the family and friends of such a person to readjust their thinking to the reality of what was really going on. In most cases they never saw inklings of the 'Mr. Hyde' personality, sometimes they delusioned themselves from seeing evidence.
It'a little mind blowing how great the disconnect seems to be for the victims--and there were a bunch of them--no compassion--no empathy--and not even simple sympathy. To even say there was no concern about this guy being a convicted child sex offender.... it really makes one wonder what on earth has happened to people and their moral compass--....not to even mention their heart's--or lack of...sigh..... :(
Hi wolfie,

Yes, very interesting. I'd love to do interviews with all those affected parties now and in about 6 months from now and see what transpires in their thought processes.

The two cases from Temecula/Murrieta Ca., a few miles from where I live, that involved murder and molestation seem to have passed quickly from the Witnesses consciousness. Maybe its just to horrible to think about or they don't relate to it in terms of Community guilt.
But its treated like yesterdays news.

I can't get over the fact that the wife let him come back home because she thought maybe his crime was just a "one time thing"!

Isn't ONE time more than enough? eeewwww!!!!

I truly think I'd vomit if I ever found out a man I was married to for 18 years had that tendency....disgusting.
