"However, my personal conclusion is that they are real and that the Watchtower Society has probably been infiltrated by a secret coven of Devil worshippers"
That's one way of putting it.   Â
Hasn't Robert done a 180 on this? If I recall rightly, when it was brought up on the old board he thought it was a ridiculous, near-blasphemous notion. :scratchhead: Ah well, this is worth somethin' - :toiletpaper:Â Â
The last 2 paragraphs: "Contrary to the conclusions some would have us reach, the presence of Satan within the congregation does not discount the fact that it is Jehovah’s organization. The Scriptures plainly indicate that Satan will be present within Jehovah’s organization up until the actual judgment is executed against him. That is evident from the very prophecy from which Jehovah’s Witnesses have derived their distinctive name – Isaiah 43:12. That verse reads:  “I myself have told forth and have saved and have caused it to be heard, when there was among you no strange god. So you are my witnesses,†is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.â€Â Â
It is apparent in so many ways, including the prevalence of hidden occult images in the Society’s literature, that there is indeed a “strange god†among us. What’s the solution? The next verse of Isaiah’s prophecy foretells how Jehovah will deal with the situation, posing the question: “I shall get active, and who can turn it back?†"
So how does the wtbts differ from any other 'demon-ridden' denomination of 'Christendom'? Can't help but see it as the same, not different or better - the same. And I also can't help but think that to acknowledge this as 'fact' and not turn away from this 'strange god' may be having a 'share'.
 Maybe this is that heavenly booming voice that some are waiting for - :whine:
"It has fallen,  Babylon the Great has fallen!
She has become a dwelling for demons,
a haunt for every unclean spirit,
a haunt for every unclean bird,
and a haunt for every unclean and despicable beast. Â
Come out of her, My people,
so that you will not share in her sins,
or receive any of her plagues.
For her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.
and 1 John 5:18-21 is interesting -
We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin, but the One who is born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.
We know that we are of God, and the whole world is under the sway of the evil one.
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know the true One. We are in the true One—that is, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Little children, guard yourselves from idols. :pyramid:
We who are 'of God' are to remain separate from 'the world'; and Christ gives us the understanding to know Our Father and thus know true from false, good from bad, righteousness from evil.
Hang in there brethren, and keep your dials tuned to YHWH's Word, listen intently and beg, with praise and thanksgiving, for the spirit of understanding. :listenmusic: :read: :ok:

Willa,
That is my viewpoint - The entire scope of Christianity has been infilitrated by the Devil and his seed - the birds in our branches, the weeds in our field, and the leaven in our flour.

Anthony I agree with that view. It is everywhere and inescapable. We can only try to do what is right and to pay attention.
I am convinced that the pictures are real and intentional (why else would they erase them afterwards if they were not there to begin with?) and I'm a skeptic by nature. This means that those doing the "artwork" OVER A PERIOD OF YEARS (indicating probably not the same person) were aware of what they were doing. Therefore only two conclusions are possible in my opinion.
1. This is the work of "lone wolves" within the org who are putting this stuff in for whatever reason. A little scary when you think about it.
2. The leadership in the org IS aware of it. A little scarier when you think about it.

Yeah, but that was BEFORE he was DF'd. b:thumbsup:

Here is a site with some good subliminals.

 He had some interesting artwork on his own site.
The presence of such evils within the organization is simply another manifestation of “the mystery of this lawlessness†at work in the house of God, which Paul foretold would emanate from a man of lawlessness “according to the operation of Satan.â€
Could this not be said of any Christian sect?
Contrary to the conclusions some would have us reach, the presence of Satan within the congregation does not discount the fact that it is Jehovah’s organization. In reality, from the very beginning of the Watchtower Society there has always been the presence of occult symbols, like Charles Russell’s fascination with pyramidology; the use of the Masonic and Templar’s symbol of the cross and the crown; the occultic winged sun that appeared on several books; the promotion by the Society of the occultic book Angels and Women, which was advertised as having been dictated by a “fallen angel.â€
My question is, if the Watchtower Society has had a Satanic occult presence from it's beginning, at what time does this apply to them?
"when there was among you no strange god."
How did they become his witnesses at a time when no strange god was among them if from their very beginning Satan was among them?
Furthermore The Watchtower did not become his witnesses until the 1930's when they took on the name of Jehovah's witnesses.
I have always been very skeptical about these claims, considering them spurious. This however is the first time that I've considered that there may be some intentional inclusions of these images. In my mind I still can't figure out exactly the "why" of it...I guess more research is required!
E-Watchman's article talks about "animals marking their territory" and some other reasoning's on motive but they all seem like a bit of a stretch to me.

Re: "...intentional inclusions of these images. In my mind I still can't figure out exactly the "why" of it..."
IMO, it seems, the purpose of subliminal images and words are to evoke emotional response, particularly basic desires and fear. Also, it seems, emotional conflict can result when one perceives subliminal "messages", because one would have to impute bad motive that our conscious mind would prefer not to do. Researching subliminal messages in commercial advertising, reveals tactics and techniques found in Watchtower publications, imo.
