Hi John,
God's will be done no matter what we do or don't do. But Jesus is seeking our faithfulness and loyalty for Him.

Yes. But the "World" is not on trial right now.

It does not matter John,
God is watching out for us if we are faithful to Jesus or not until the end.
As far as I know and I could be wrong No active soldier has ever been baptized as a JW or Baptized the same day ( or even week ) of their conversion.
BB:happyheart::heartbeat::happyheart:
So Cornelius and others perhaps soldiers as well were baptized.
No waiting days, weeks months or years THEY were Baptized then and there.
No one has to wait to be christian or being baptised. We can accept Jesus as we are, but after we become followers we should serve Him with changed heart; that means we should change ourselves according to Jesus' teachings.

That's another thing I don't like about JW. they did not recognize me as Christian because I was not baptized by them. On the same token, Trinitaians don't rcognize non-trinitarians like me as christians either.

Isn't it wonderful that we do not have to worry what man, woman, family, group or organzation approves of us? How free it set us from fleshly concerns, and it allows us to follow our Lord without hinderance, so we can leave it all behind as he asks of us.
Luk 9:23 And He said to all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. :24 For whoever will save his life shall lose it, but whoever will lose his life for My sake, he shall save it. :25 For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world and loses himself, or is cast away?

Actually, it does matter Hitomi. Because "the end" for the WORLD will be during the millenial "judgment day". Not now. The JW's are trying to place EVERYONE under judgment now; this is why they tend to be very judgmental. This is absolutly unbiblical and incorrect.
When the Church is complete. IT will participate in the judgment of the world. "In righteousness"
"Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?" - 1Cor 6:2
John,
We should always be faithful until the end. Does Jesus say we should be faithful only at the [/b]judgment time?
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
The Rich Man and Lazarus
19 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. 20 But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, 21 desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’
27 “Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ 29 Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’â€
Judgement not in 1000yrs. but at death.

The questions is, WHO do you mean by "WE"?
I will say it again a different way. The world of mankind in general is not being judged right now (unless the scriptures are wrong :dontknow:). "Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the WORLD.." - Acts 17:31

Jesus' followers.

I repeat again, Jesus tells us to be faithful to Him until the end. Not just end-times.
I don't think you are making your point clear. What are you trying to say?
Well I just thought I might add to this thread what I like about JW's is that so many are not as indoctrinated as you might think. So I would qualify what I like about JW's is what I don't like about their structure which attempts to control the minds of the less intuitive.
Just a little addendum to the wait times and all those restrictions before baptism ... when I got baptized, I simply signed up, answered two questions (before they were changed) and voila! I was dunked. No further questions and no further regimen to follow. Why, in those days you could even (cough ... wheeze) smoke! :smoker:

Ah yes the good ol days, we use to fire up a few Cigars after service and reminisce on what an enjoyable Saturday morning we had:friends:

I guess not. My point is, NOT everyone IS "Jesus Followers" today. And it is not imperative that they become Jesus followers today. Those individuals are not being judged at this time, their judgment is future; during the Millenial "judgment day" (2 Pet 3:7, 8).
Right now is the time for the perfecting and gathering of the Church, or "body of Christ" (1Cor 10:16; 12:27). It is through the church that the world will be judged and mankind blessed.:heartbeat:
