All those listening to him were in constant amazement at his understanding and his answers.--Luke 2:47
...I have absolutely no doubt that Jesus was an exceptional child. How could it have been otherwise? The details ,however, of his early life are very precious and few. There have been many different thoughts on why this is so but they are speculation. My thought has been that perhaps Jesus led the very ordinary life of a young Jewish boy and there wasn't alot to take note of. (just a thought) ........it does say in Luke 2:40:
''And the young child continued growing and getting strong, being filled with wisdom, and God's favor continued with him.''...the next mention of him is when he was 12--the full account  :rose: :rose:
''Now his parents were accustomed to go from year to year
to Jerusalem, for the festival of the passover.
And when he became twelve years old, they went
up according to the custom of the festival and completed
the days. But when they were returning, the boy Jesus
remained behind in Jerusalem, and his parents did not notice it.
Assuming that he was in the company traveling together, they covered a day's distance and then began to hunt him up among
the relatives and acquaintances. But, not finding him, they returned
to Jerusalem, making a diligent search for him. Well, after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers and listening to them and questioning them. But all those listening to him were in constant amazement at his understanding and his answers.
:rose:
after his parents found him and he was questioned as to why he had done this he seemed amazed they didn't understand him better  and asked them:''Why did you have to go looking for me? Why did you not know that I must be in the (house) of my Father?'' :rose: :rose:
However, they did not grasp the saying that he spoke to them.
And he went down with them and came to Nazareth, and he
continued subject to them. Also, his mother carefully kept all
these sayings in her heart. And Jesus went on progressing in wisdom and in physical growth and in favor with God and men.'' Luke 2: 41-52..
:rose: :rose: (I thought this was priceless--Mother's Know :rose: )
And so Jesus grew and his life progressed in stages and Luke 3 and 4 describe his preparation for his ministry and the account moves on through the events of his earthly life until now we have a glorious Christ--Savior and King.... :heartbeat: .... :rose:
''Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.'' Acts 16:31 ...

''God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in
the holy Scriptures. The Good News is about his Son.'' Romans 1:2-3

''He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his
people, who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.'' Colossians 1: 12-14.... :rose: :rose::rose: :rose:
No way can I cover even a teeny bit of the glory and wonder of Jesus Christ. All thoughts and scriptures very welcome should anyone care to share their favorites concerning this Glorious subject..... :heartbeat: :rose: :rose:
One of my own most favorite scriptures concerning Jesus :heartbeat:
''Jesus has the power of God, by which he has given us everything we need to live and serve God. We have these things because we know him. Jesus called us by his glory and goodness. Through these he gave us the very great and precious promises. With these gifts you can share in being like God, and the world will not ruin you with its evil desires.'' 1 Peter 1:2-4..... :rose: :rose: :rose:
and  (I Never get tired of reading these words) :rose:
''I pray that Christ will live in your hearts by faith and that your life will be strong in love and be built on love. And I pray that you and all God's holy people will have the power to understand the greatness of Christ's love--how wide and how long and how high and how deep that love is. ''Christ's love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love. Then you will be filled with the fullness of God.'' Eph. 3: 16- (amen) :heartbeat:18 ... :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:
