I wrote this some time ago:
Craftsman Weeps
The father heart is troubled deep
for the tears of his Craftsman
so openly wept,
"How long o father, oh, how long?
Are my hands work spoil-ed?
I weep for what has become
thy blue jewel's facets dulled and failing fast
children ripped from wombs as yet unformed
as ones born out of time
wound out of place of care
They were to be carers of what these hands have made
Stewards of the planet's yield.
Too long o father, oh, how far too long
has the image of Nimrod reformed their frames
'subduer of the leopard'!
They take the innocent for simple repast
molesting the un-walled who cry in vain?
How long o father, oh, how long?
Will you stay my hand and see my grief and pain?"

The story has been updated... sounds like the Russians have confirmed it was a missile test. I wonder if they were testing their missiles anywhere close to the Nobel Peace Prize giveaway...
