PORNEIA

PORNEIA is a word that Jesus used at Mt 5: 32 “But I say to you, that every man that leaveth his wife [that every man that shall leave his wife], except (for) [the] cause of fornication, maketh her to do lechery, and he that weddeth the forsaken wife, doeth adultery.” This word is also used by Jesus in Mt 19:9 “I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."
The same word PORNEIA is used in the book of Revelation 14:8 “A second angel followed and said, "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries."
PORNEIA has also been used to describe how the kings of the earth also commit PORNEIA with the woman Babylon the great. So both the kings of the earth and the woman commit PORNEIA .

PORNEUO has a slightly different meaning in that it is used to express literal fornication Mark 10:19 says “ You know the commandments: 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother."

The Insight book ...page 642 says.” As shown in the article FORNICATION, however, the term “fornication” is a rendering of the Greek word por•nei´a and includes all forms of illicit sexual relations outside of Scriptural marriage. Hence, Jesus’ words at Matthew 5:32 and 19:9 mean that the only divorce ground that actually severs the marriage bond is por•nei´a on the part of one’s marriage mate. The follower of Christ may avail himself of that divorce provision if that is his desire, and such a divorce would free him to marry an eligible Christian.—1Co 7:39.

Notice they acknowledge all forms of illicit sexual relations outside of Scriptural marriage. They also say “the only divorce ground that actually severs the marriage bond is por•nei´a”

Are we to assume then that Jesus was including Spiritual fornication? By using the word por•nei´a Jesus is not disqualifying Pagan Idolatry or a prostitution with a religious Organisation (like the Watchtower) that would take over the role of the spiritual head. Yes this is a form of por•nei´a denoting unfaithfulness to one’s head, spiritual adultery or por•nei´a

The Head of every man & woman is not a religious Organisation but rather Christ, and only Christ.

You are so correct theway. The Watchtower is one of the daughters of the great harlot of Revelation . The Watchtower also takes over the spiritual role of any man who they consider an apostate ( in my case Dfs over Watchtower subliminal art). A woman who allows this to happen commits PORNEIA

The main definition is to act as a harlot.. This, to me is not the same as having relations with one you are committed to.. rather 'acting as a harlot' is loose, leud sex..

Truthfully, I don't think it's wrong for grown adults to have relations with someone they are in love with.. I don't see anything against it in the bible.. :dancing:

1 Corinthians 6:9...has often been used to differentiate the religion of Jehovah's Witness and other religions.

Instead of viewing perverted relations as something grossly disgusting, some rely on their own reasoning or allow others to reason for them, instead of taking scripture to heart.

All immoral relations must be hated for what they are...bad/wicked.

Being effeminate or "soft" has nothing to do with homosexual relations.

Here are what seem to be valid translations of 1 Timothy 1:10...

(ASV) for fornicators, for abusers of themselves with men, for menstealers, for liars, for false swearers, and if there be any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine;

(ISV) for those involved in sexual immorality, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for false witnesses, and for whatever else goes against the healthy teaching

(KJV+) For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

1st Timothy 1: 10 and I Corinthians 6:9 both use the same Greek word (arsenokoites) which is translated differently in a massive variety of translations because no one really knows exactly what the word means. The translation of this word has ranged from masturbators to kidnapers, deepening on not only the translation but the period of time the translation was done. Homosexual is a modern word which describes an orientation. If the bible is translated to condemn someone for having an orientation which of itself does not necessitate any action whatsoever then the translation is a result of prejudice. If for instance people who masturbate will not get into the kingdom then we need to right off at least 95% of all people.

This is really interesting... I'm learning something new here.. So, the scripture I Cor. 6:10...says 'men who lie with men', or in NIV, 'male prostitutes...

But yet it comes from the word 'porno'... as seen below, which pornia is a kin to it.. which has nothing to do with homosexuals..notice, it comes from the word 'to sell'.. so it may be talking about selling sex..
