Christians are Spiritual Descendents OF Abraham

Each Christian is a ‘spiritual’ descendant of Abraham, in Christ.
Galatians 3:2, I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? 9 So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.
What is Romans 9:6 saying?
Romans 9:6 It is not as though God's word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. 7Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham's children. On the contrary, "It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.
John10:16 I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd
Romans 10:16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"
Romans 9:8In other words, it is not the natural children who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring.
Romans 11:11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.(Jn.10:16, 'Gentiles' = "other sheep.")

God has always had a remnant of believers from the earth,out of eachgeneration.

Romans 11: So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

Galatians 3:7 "Understand, then," that.... those who believe” .....are children of Abraham. 8The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you." 9So those who have faith are ......blessed along with Abraham,.... the man of faith. =

(Compare who God's Holy spirit is given too? To all who are striving to do the will of God, 'each in the congregation,Jn. 14:23, Eph. 5:18, Lk. 11:13, John 16:7-8, Rev. 3:20, 'anyone.').

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Compare with Romans 3:22. There is no distinction!
Galatians 3:20A mediator, however, does not represent just one party; but God is one.

The promised Spirit that Jesus said he would send is for EACH obedient believer
The Watchtower organization has “hidden” this mystery from innocent minds.

No one in the congregation has failed the test if Christ is in us
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?
Would the Watchtower have caused the Apostle Paul much pain had they been around in his day, teaching that only 144000 people were in Christ and he in them?
Galatians 4:19 My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you,
Has the Watchtower shepherds hidden the mystery from innocent eyes?
Colossians 1:27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Did Jehovah God change his mind as to the numbers of Men and Woman He wanted in (union with) Christ? Did Paul get these numbers right at first, but then later, got them all mixed up some how? Did Jehovah really want just 144000 men and woman in Christ?
28We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.
Could it be that the Watchtower Organization has ‘always’ understood, that anyone not in Christ, is actually ‘condemned’ in the eyes of God? Why was Paul so concerned?
Romans 8:1 1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
For many years, the Watchtower organization was able to keep the average JW from partaking of the Lord's Supper during their annual memorial each year. We will continue to see (below) the excuses the Watchtower gave the majority of Jehovah Witnesses for abstaining from partaking of the Lord’s Table. How sad. Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

“The Jonadabs are not even justified, because the receiving of life everlasting depends upon their obedience within God’s organization and faithfully abiding there until the wrath of God is passed at Armageddon.” WT April 1, 1938 p. 104
The word “Jonadabs,” was at that time given to the ‘average’ JW within their organization who were told that they could not partake of the Lord’s Supper because they were not yet justified as righteous in the eyes of God.
Doesn’t the Bible teach that each believer in the congregation display a Christ like life style? Who in the congregation is still in Adam,(who were born into sin, ‘in the flesh?’ I pray not one. Col. 1:27,28, Gal. 4:19.
Romans 8:9 KJV “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.” Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

Each believer also has the Spirit of God in them, (1 Jn. 4:4, 15).


In their book: “Life Everlasting In The Sons of God,” 1966. p. 391, “The Great Crowd are taught to believe they don’t receive justification promised in the N. T. The Great Crowd will not be justified or declared righteous either now nor then as the 144000 heavenly heirs have been justified while in the flesh”

Yet the bible teaches that the congregation as a whole are at peace with God...
1 John 3:7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.
8He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. 9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: ANYONE who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother

The World has a choice. We have been given 'choices' as to who's children we want to be....Unless of course, the WT has confused you into 'not knowing.'

1 John 2:29 "If " you know that he is righteous, you know that EVERYONE who does what is right has been born of him..

Jn. 1:12,13 represents those 'who know.'...'do you?'

Think it has been mentioned before that the covenant upon which others hinge is that of Abraham.
The covenant of Hagar (old/first covenant) and the covenant of Sarah (new covenant) are dependant on the 'covenant', promise to Abraham. That promise was based on his faith and love, allowing him to offer up everything, his only son, just as our Father was willing to offer up his Son.
Again the WT has it wrong when it says that the Abrahamic covenant will end. It is the one that will never end, but will produce offspring, like sand and stars, whereever they may be, on the shores or in the heavens.

OK, I know this is not the place to discuss, but Rev. 13.
The dragon stands still on the sands of the sea.

Compare this with Genesis 22:17. Is this his oppression of Abraham's earthly offspring? His tail has already attacked the the stars, dragging down a third.

OK, checked Greek...."And it stood upon the sand of the sea", or erected itself, fixed itself. 'Still' inferred but not actually in text.
'It stationed itself upon the sands of the sea'.

So satan goes after Abraham's offspring, firstly the stars then the grains of sand.

The judgment day is now, in the Millennium since 1874. The spirit begotten is judged first and when they are finished the non- spirit begotten are to be judged in Christ's meditorial kingdom. Join in the New Covenant and live right and you may receive eternal human life.
Since you are not spirit begotten you will be judged in Christ's Kingdom. That means like a child the Lord will over rule in your life step by srep until you learn and do righteousness. That is the kind of judging meant.
The hope of eternal human life is in Christ's Kingdom; the death of the disobedient is there also. Not every one will obey. Then in the Little Season, Jehovah will do the final judgment as to who lives forever!

Get out of the JW's and learn the truth from Pastor Russell's books. He is "that servant" of Matthew 24:45-47.

I will post a scripture (that is mentioned in the post you copied and posted)...This scripture explains very much and is very encouraging.

1John 4:14...

"We have seen for ourselves and can testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
God abides in the one who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and he abides in God.
We have come to know and believe in the love that God has for us. God is love, and the person who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

The judgement or the millenium is when Christ is present. All scriptures say this is something that happens quickly or shortly. I see his presence as having a 3 1/2 year period where the domino's fall until Babylon is completely destroyed. 1874 or 1914 is inaccurate, I'm afraid.

Vicki, I really liked your idea about Satan standing on the sands of the sea. I think the NIV says coming out of the sea. The scripture before it says he is attacking the offspring of the woman. Are the sands of the sea, the offspring of the woman then? As the sands of the sea appear to be the bad ones in Rev. 20, when Gog of Magog again surrounds the holy city.

Disciple, do you think the spirit is freely given out during the last 2,000 years as was in the 1st century? As you said there have always been a remnant of believers in every generation? I would like your opinion though..

God in the Old Testament poured out his Spirit only on certain people and only on certain times to accomplish what He wanted them to do at that time. He did not how ever, pour out his Spirit on every believer like He has done in the New 'Covenant' (better known as the 'New Testament, Ephesians 5:18, 1 John 4:4, 15).'

Someone seems to have distracted from you excellent work by making unproven, dogmatic statements... too bad, a problem with some. It's a matter of accepting someone's doctrines over doing their own research

Also, notice Jesus’ words found at Matthew 8:12, where he foretold, ‘However, the Sons of the Kingdom will be thrown into the darkness outside. There they will cry and grind their teeth.’

Since the Jews were ‘the sons of the kingdom’ or 'the sons of the Abrahamic promise,' the indication here is that they as a nation were being rejected. That is the basis for establishing a New Covenant, for, the Abrahamic Covenant supersedes the one with Israel.
