In Revelation Chapter 8 and 9 when the seventh seal is opened and the trumpet blasts start happening many of the desolations do come from heaven.
Hail and fire mingled with blood.
A great mountain burning with fire.
A great star burning as a lamp and falling from heaven
The sun, moon and stars are darkened
Angels themselves are designated to kill the men who do not have the seal in their foreheads.
I think there is a good chance that before the hail and fire and burning mountain arrive they will be detected by telescope and eventually seen with the naked eye.
I know many people think these are symbolic however, it certainly does portray a time of great tribulation. What better way for it to come from heaven. There should then be no doubt that it is divine.
It is interesting how Jesus Christ worded his statement in Luke Chapter 31.
It will come in.
Luke 21:34
and suddenly that day be instantly upon you as a snare For it will come in on all those dwelling upon the face of the earth.
Seems like people will be aware of signs in the sun moon and stars and then "it will come in", suddenly!
Does that sound scary?

Some of the other topics got me going with the Sun / Moon stars.
First I am thinking that The Sun moon and stars are indeed christs body. they are the elect as far as I can tell.
ok so for some nothing new.
well I think it maight be worth re-reading revelations with this in mind as weel as carefully considering the words:fallen: or coming down" or burned up" words like that.

Revelation 9:1
[ The Fifth Trumpet--the Bottomless Pit ] Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key of the bottomless pit was given to him.
Matthew 24:29
[ The Glorious Return ] "But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
the stars were not in heaven they were only in the sky here
but here it says
Mark 13:25
AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
Hebrews 11:12
Therefore there was born even of one man, and him as good as dead at that, as many descendants AS THE STARS OF HEAVEN IN NUMBER, AND INNUMERABLE AS THE SAND WHICH IS BY THE SEASHORE.
this is ref to the promise.
Revelation 8:10
The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters.
this one seems like a great leader of the christian followers. and he has now fallen on his own possibly?
Revelation 12:4
And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.
I think this is in direct reference to the admonition given the seven congregations to change or loose the prize.
