Local officials in Mosul said Rahho's abductors were members of a criminal gang who sought a ransom for his release.

All terrorists are criminals.

Re: "All terrorists are criminals."

Yet are all 'criminals' terrorists?

some quotes from article:

"... author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of "all removable aliens" and "potential terrorists."

"...Other groups in the crosshairs could be anti-abortion protesters, anti-tax agitators, immigration activists, environmentalists, peace demonstrators, Second Amendment rights supporters ... the list goes on and on. According to author Naomi Wolf, the National Counterterrorism Center holds the names of roughly 775,000 "terror suspects" with the number increasing by 20,000 per month."

Rule by fear or rule by law?

I honestly don't know why so much of what I have to say has to devolve into something in the political theater of the absurd. It certainly isn't meant that way. So I'm not sure what you're driving at, gogh. Is it your position that some or all of those who terrorize good and decent people are not criminals? I think I must be missing something when my statement that "all terrorists are criminals" is so quickly turned into what appears to be a political debate. I thought it was a given.

Gus, I have a boring little life, which I spend staring at the computer, and reading posts that ping-pong back and forth. :D Think how even more boring it would be, if you weren't around to be picked on. Even worse people might start picking on me. Hope you don't mind me standing behind you and ducking. :surrender:

Yeah...I guess if it comes from me, there has to be something conspiratorial about it. Don't stand too close. I'm getting older and my reflexes aren't what they used to be.
