"Revelation Its Grand Climax At Hand" book page 241 New unseen Mirror Image. Notice the EAR on the 7th head from left is a HORN. Do you think the Artist likes me to do this? I just don't know if I am doing his work for him. What do you think brothers?

Why look for "Mirror Image."?

Mirror images, imo, could more easily be perceptions (ink blot type) of bad motive....
and could detract from "legitimate"/more obvious bad motive illustrations.

(There are too many obvious, questionably "bad motive" illustrations throughout
the societies publications, imo.)

The whole thing is weird. Weirdness doesn't score too many points in
my book. Unfinished heads, faces on the backs of heads (see the 3rd
from left), oddball horns where they shouldn't be. Looks like "Nightmare
on Columbia Heights." Even if the artist was on the up-n-up, I'd say he's
(and the committee who approved the rendition) are weirdos.

This continues an error. The "seven heads" are on the Gentile Beast; one at a time; NOT seven always. It is a beast having seven heads! One after the other.

Well, maybe the correctness of the beast image is a subject for
another thread (I'm sure there must be one somewhere); but
this thread is about another subliminal insertion of demonic images
in watchtower artwork. If that's the case, the artwork is anything
but commendable. Even without the subliminals, I'm not a big fan.

Neither am I! I think the art work is rubbish.
What is af more concern is that from the WT we often have had false
ideas fixed in our heads, and by means of the artwork, (no matter that it
is poor) it helps to fix those ideas even more.

There is NO such picture in my Revelation book on pg. 241.
It is a normal rendition by a Bethel artist.
Just the facts mam please!
There are enough negative things to talk about the WTS as it is!
Such as their spirtual idolatry about the almighty F&DS...
than draw imaginary pictures!

Whatever.
I guess I'm too buzzzy looking at and appreciating,
the reality of Yahweh's creation....
rather than things that aren't really there.

I dunno.....I think I'm with CountryRoad on this one.

I can see faces in my bubblebath if I look for them. Woodgrain is another dandy way to "see" critters looking back at me. It was an amusing passtime for me as a child. But mirror imaging takes quite a creative effort I would think.

Vicky, Gogh and Gus....I'm with you about the artwork. I've seen enough bad teaching with the aid of "a picture is worth a thousand words". For instance, take a look at the one on page 302 in the Revelation Climax book and compare it to what the scriptures say at Revelation 21:21,22; 22:1-3, 14. Actually....a careful reading of Revelation chapters 21 and 22 in context will contradict more than one illustration in this book.

I've said to you before that I use highly figured veneers & when I book match them, ie mirror them, I ALWAYS, ALWAYS find faces, demonic or otherwise & animal & bird faces appear & disappear as I move the veneers to best effect.

The act of mirroring always causes the effect you think is evidence of the WT using demonic artists.

Hi floriferous. You are like so many I have spoke too. Let me tell you I know how to paint a lions EAR. This ear is a HORN in the original. Some still don’t get it. I have mirrored this painting for you to see what the image looks like when you mirror it. It does not look like this in the book. I am sick and tired of trying to help people see what is going on. I also admire the artist who painted this. Why he is doing this I do not know. I will not judge him. Maybe he is angry with God for some reason or another. He actually helped me out of the Watchtower by doing what he does. If he reads this I am informing him I am no longer going to allow this issue to take any more of my time. I am not stopping because of what you say Floriferous. Your words mean nothing to me. I am stopping because I feel there is enough info out there to make an educated decision as to what is going on behind the walls of the Watchtower. The artist has helped me see who is running the Watchtower. I have become close to the Artists by studying their art. I Understand the meaning behind some of the paintings and it has been fascinating to study such art. There was much more to reveal to you all but the end has come. There is nothing like this art in the world. Da vinci does not come near the complexity of the Watchtower art. I am not praising what they do I admire the artistic ability. Look Im an artist and that’s the way I am.

The bible is full of men who were bad yet Yahweh forgave them. Who am I to judge? Why is he/she doing this? Have they been programmed to do this? Have they had bad experiences?

Dearest Artcritic, I am sorry if my comment seemed harsh........I truly wouldn't want to hurt you & ask for your forgiveness.

I agree there is something 'unusual' about WT art when faces/demons can be discerned in folds of cloth or gnarled bark just by looking at the picture.................but mirroring just doesn't cut it with me.
