You know that ego always gets in the way.
I am a full time carer for a lady who will be 98 in June.
The family I work for is so disfunctional, I could write a thesis on it and gain a PhD.
Anyway, every night I have to say the Lord's prayer, and the lovely elderly lady repeats it after me. At this age you are never sure you will make it through the night.
Tonight after saying........"and forgive us our trespasses"
She, half asleep said........"and give us our prostitutes"
Goodness knows what was going on in her mind!

I've done live-in care work with the elderly. It is hard work but can be rewarding and enjoyable at times.
