Those of you who have known me for awhile know she is my best friend and (adopted) sister.
Her doctor found a lump in her thyroid gland today on her 40th birthday.
Just keep her in your thoughts, after all she's been through she is still one of the good people. Only the Lord knows what she's been through cos she still hasn't told me everything after 25-plus years.
I will pray for her, Wasblind. She is very fortunate to have a kind and loving friend like you.

She goes to the hospital Wednesday for more tests. She's my sister, and my BEST friend ever. Positive thoughts are all I can have.
Hi dana

prayers are us you know

I so hope Ruby is fine and offer prayers also on her behalf...what a wonderful friend you are to her Dana--it is a blessing that not everyone has to have a lifelong friend that supports you through thick and thin--in that regard she is a Most fortunate lady

Talked to Ruby yesterday. We have good news. Her thyroid is very hyperactive. Which caused her heart to beat waay to fast. She got medicine to slow her heartrate down. She said she feels better than she has in a long time. I guess that was why she was extremely fatigued all the time.
Anyway, they are doing a sonogram on her thyroid to find out more about the nodule. She will be referred to an endocrinologist.
What a relief. I'm so happy she is feeling better. She actually felt like laughing at my jokes. It was great.
Her laugh tickles me, that's why I continually try to crack her up.
Hi Wasblind,
Just saw your post - and praise be to the Hearer of prayer above.
Friendship is a wonderful thing, stay close together, laugh together as it is good medicine.
Best wishes for Ruby when she visits the endocrinologist.
