Hello friends.

I want to ask you all for your prayers on behalf of a friend.
This friend recently contracted hepatitis C
(something that could happen to any one of us) & is now under going treatment for the condition.

This friend is known to us as she is a member of the Paradise Cafe & is a dearly valued sister, some here already know of her situation, but I didn't want to embarrass her so for that reason I've disingenuously keep her identity anonymous
(it's not Vicky, she is alive & well but is unfortunately without a broadband connection).
I myself have been seriously ill in the past & know how unpleasant treatment & it's side effects can be.

When I was a JW the love I showed & was shown by those I called my brothers & sisters was actually very conditional, not like how I feel about my brothers/sisters here on the board.
As Bruised Reed always says; we are a body, so when one of us hurts; we all hurt.

Sis I'll be praying hard that YHWH gives you the courage, energy & love that you need to get through this difficult & scary time.


So can I ask for your prayers on behalf of a stunningly attractive, talented, faithful, loving, hard working & zealous sister in Christ.

Our sis has already had a prayer thread elsewhere, so it's not much of a big secret, but I just thought that it would be extra nice for her to see that she is sincerely valued here also.

When we are sick its all to easy to start thinking we deserve it all somehow, so wouldn't want our sis to feel that way for a single second.
