Are we here to discuss the Bible or here for joyful and her son? It seems that they are picking everyone apart. Its like walking on eggs here. Their discussions have nothing to do with the Bible anymore . No one can answer a thread with out be accused of being insensitive towards them. That is a horrible attitude to teach your children. Maybe a pity party is in order?:cry::cry: If anyone chooses to leave Im sure it will be because of the tension and bad feelings that joyful is causing to be here on this forum.
It seems that my posts get so much attention and get uproar. I am just wondering why??? I am so flattered that I am getting so much attention. Noone is forced to read any threads. You can always ignore people whom you don't like. Why do you read mine if you dont think it is worth your time and it gets you upset??? This is free country and I am just taking advantage of expressing my faith for the Lord, my dear.

I see no faith in the Lord in your posts as of late. Ignoring is what you should have done in the first place and none of this would have started, if you felt you were offended. Faith is not expressed by spewing venom.

Loathe though I am to get caught up in any sort of controversy, I do not think that by attacking each other via posts specifically created to accuse people of attacking others, or making posts accusing people of creating non-bible posts. Let ye who is without sin cast the first stone and all that good stuff. Honestly, this sort of thing is for PMs if you must engage in this sort of attack (and this isn't the only post I'm talking about, because I'm not taking sides), and I find the fact that there are posts of such accusations as the closest thing to unchristian-like as it gets. Not that I am saying either party is un-christian, do not take me the wrong way, I'm merely saying that this sort of post created specifically for accusation and anger are not the best way of approaching something. We're here to love one another, and to try to aide one another in our search for love and for Christ.

Honestly, I'm disappointed in both of you... but, I know that you both love Christ very much and very passionately. Let not that passion be transformed into anger. If we feel a sheep has gone astray we are to look for it and guide it back, not drive it further away with words of anger. :sheepy:

All I can say is I hope we can once again find peace, even here within the controversy section where sometimes tempers can run high, and feelings often times bruised...

You are right and I am sorry, deeply sorry and will not engage in this again.

3But if anyone teaches otherwise and does not [a]assent to the sound and wholesome messages of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and the teaching which is in agreement with godliness (piety toward God),

4He is puffed up with pride and stupefied with conceit, [although he is] woefully ignorant. He has a [b]morbid fondness for controversy and disputes and strife about words, which result in (produce) envy and jealousy, quarrels and dissension, abuse and insults and slander, and base suspicions,
5And protracted wrangling and wearing discussion and perpetual friction among men who are corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, who imagine that godliness or righteousness is a [c]source of profit [a moneymaking business, a means of livelihood]. From such withdraw.

I'm seriously about to take my leave from here. We can't even talk anymore without it being called an attack.

A more perfectly appropriate Scripture (from just the right translation) I cannot imagine!

Thank you, Dana. (Oh, and you're not going anyplace, young lady.) ;)

Dear draka, please don't get offended when I say this but you are missing the point. Joyful has been quite emotional and has taken offense toward those who are trying to be helpful. She has the tendency of turning such helpful consideration into criticism. While she has much zeal for Christ she has yet to learn to act more like Christ. It is my sincere hope that she takes the kind advice of BruisedReed and Wolfie.

Love,
