Full Version: Why does the WTBTS say they are the steward?

I need to know the exact circumstances in which the WTBTS claims made them the Steward. What was it? Was it a book? Why did Christ choose them according to them? Please tell me this without Watchtower speak!

Thanks!
Hi Knightlock.

I don't think the WBTS actually claims to be the "steward", per se. What is claimed is that The Governing Body is the rightful representative of the "faithful and discreet slave" class alive on earth today. Technically, the WBTS is just a legal entity to publish Watchtowers, Bibles, and Tracts, etc and to legally establish and defend the interests of "God's people" in modern times (originally The International Bible Students but renamed JW's in 1931).

However, since the Watchtower Society is so intimately associated with the GB and since the Watchtower magazine claims to be the only legitimate "mouthpiece" of the faithful and discreet slave class, then it can be easy to conclude that the WBTS is itself claiming to be the "faithful steward", but strictly speaking, the two should not be conflated. Unfortunately the WBTS and the "steward" have become inseparable in the minds of JW's, an illusion which the Society actually encourages in order to maintain its tight control over all JW's and crush independent thinking.

The truth of course is that the WBTS is nothing more than what I said earlier: a legal entity created to establish + represent a religious publishing house and to act as the legal instrument for that publishing organisation. Quite separate and apart from that, the "faithful steward" is simply any individual true Christian who has proved "faithful and discreet" and who is finally found to have been dutifully and correctly feeding Christ's sheep when the master finally returns.

That is my understanding; hope it helps clarify things a bit.

Thanks for the information but I suppose what I am wondering is under what circumstances were they choosen.

From what I understand is the following

1. Jesus came back in 1914
2. Jesus looked at all the religions on earth and for some reason rejected them in favor of the wtbts.

So, I was wondering what was it he looked at when he apparently chose them.

It was viewed at the time (1914-1919) the the Bible Students were holding to the truth of God's Word in regards-
Jehovah God
Jesus Christ
Holy Spirit
No Trinity
No Hell Fire
No Immortal Soul
The 'Presence' which began in the late 1870's
The Gentile Times
The New Heavens and New Earth
The Chart of the Ages and Chronology
Christian Non-Violence in War

The revised view of the JWs is that the Presence began in 1914 and the Last Days began. They rejected the Chronology for the most part and the calculations from the Pyramid. They differ on the Ransom for All interpretation. The other teachings listed above they pretty much held to.

I see what you are getting at Knightlock, now that you've clarified your question.

In a nutshell, the WBTS asserts that in 1914 the gentile times ended and Jesus Christ began ruling as king and shortly thereafter in 1918 Jesus looked down from heaven, examined all the religions on the earth, and selected the "faithful and discreet slave." (Matt 24:45) Apparently it was only this group, the group of Christians associated with the WBTS, now known as Jehovah's Witnesses, that were feeding the right quality of food at the proper time, ie, it is claimed that only the Bible Students were being faithful to the true teachings of the Bible. In other words, only the Bible Students were essentially free from Babylonish, pagan-derived false doctrines and were teachings correct, pure Christianity.

I'm sorry I don't have any quotes, but there is a plethora of information on this doctrine on the internet and in books. I would recommend "Crisis of Conscience" by Ray Franz for a good historical view and critique.

Wow first of all, thanks for clearing that up.

Second, I don't know where to begin with all the problems I see with their explanation.

-According to this scripture the slave was choosen BEFORE the master arived. If Jesus came in 1914, the steward would have to be someone that was chosen in 1913 or earlier, 1918 would be too late.

Apparently it was only this group, the group of Christians associated with the WBTS, now known as Jehovah's Witnesses, that were feeding the right quality of food at the proper time, ie, it is claimed that only the Bible Students were being faithful to the true teachings of the Bible.

-I have looked at every single teaching that they had at the time and almost all of them were dumped for some reason or another.

In other words, only the Bible Students were essentially free from Babylonish, pagan-derived false doctrines and were teachings correct, pure Christianity.

-The Pyrimid, astrology and others seem pretty pegan to me.

I'm sorry I don't have any quotes, but there is a plethora of information on this doctrine on the internet and in books. I would recommend "Crisis of Conscience" by Ray Franz for a good historical view and critique.

-I will have to read that...thanks!

Here is some info from regarding this, Knightlock.

‘The Faithful Slave’ Passes the Test!

“It is the appointed time for the judgment to start with the house of God.”—1 Peter 4:17.

AT Pentecost 33 C.E., Jesus appointed a “slave” to provide food at the proper time for his “domestics.” In 1914, Jesus was enthroned as King, and soon it was time to inspect that “slave.” For the most part, he found that the “slave” had proved itself “faithful and discreet.” Hence, he appointed it “over all his belongings.” (Matthew 24:45-47) However, there was also an evil slave, who was neither faithful nor discreet.

“That Evil Slave”

2 Jesus spoke of the evil slave immediately after discussing “the faithful and discreet slave.” He said: “If ever that evil slave should say in his heart, ‘My master is delaying,’ and should start to beat his fellow slaves and should eat and drink with the confirmed drunkards, the master of that slave will come on a day that he does not expect and in an hour that he does not know, and will punish him with the greatest severity and will assign him his part with the hypocrites. There is where his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.” (Matthew 24:48-51) The expression “that evil slave” draws our attention to Jesus’ preceding words about the faithful and discreet slave. Yes, the “evil slave” came from the ranks of the faithful slave. How?

3 Before 1914, many members of the faithful slave class had high hopes of meeting with the Bridegroom in heaven that year, but their hopes were not fulfilled. As a result of this and other developments, many were disappointed and a few became embittered. Some of these turned to ‘beating’ their former brothers verbally and consorting with “confirmed drunkards,” religious groups of Christendom.—Isaiah 28:1-3; 32:6.

4 These former Christians came to be identified as the “evil slave,” and Jesus punished them with “the greatest severity.” How? He rejected them, and they lost out on their heavenly hope. They were not, however, immediately destroyed. They first had to endure a period of weeping and gnashing of teeth in “the darkness outside” the Christian congregation. (Matthew 8:12) Since those early days, a few other anointed individuals have shown a similar bad spirit, identifying themselves with the “evil slave.” Some of the “other sheep” have imitated their unfaithfulness. (John 10:16) All such enemies of the Christ end up in the same spiritual “darkness outside.”

5 Nonetheless, the faithful and discreet slave went through the same tests as “that evil slave.” Rather than becoming embittered, however, they were readjusted. (2 Corinthians 13:11) Their love for Jehovah and their brothers was strengthened. As a result, they have been “a pillar and support of the truth” during these tumultuous “last days.”—1 Timothy 3:15; 2 Timothy 3:1.

Discreet and Foolish Virgins

6 After speaking of “that evil slave,” Jesus gave two parables to show why some anointed Christians would prove to be faithful and discreet while others would not. To illustrate discretion, he said: “The kingdom of the heavens will become like ten virgins that took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were discreet. For the foolish took their lamps but took no oil with them, whereas the discreet took oil in their receptacles with their lamps.” (Matthew 25:1-4) The ten virgins remind us of anointed Christians before 1914. They had calculated that the bridegroom, Jesus Christ, was about to make an appearance. Hence, they “went out” to meet him, boldly preaching that “the appointed times of the nations” would end in 1914.—Luke 21:24.

7 They were correct. The appointed times of the nations did end in 1914, and God’s Kingdom under Christ Jesus went into operation. But that was in the invisible heavens. On earth, mankind began to suffer foretold “woe.” (Revelation 12:10, 12) A time of testing ensued. Not understanding things clearly, anointed Christians thought that “the bridegroom was delaying.” Confused and facing hostility from the world, generally they slowed down and virtually stopped the organized public preaching work. Like the virgins in the parable, spiritually speaking they “nodded and went to sleep,” even as unfaithful professed Christians did after Jesus’ apostles died.—Matthew 25:5; Revelation 11:7, 8; 12:17.

8 Then in 1919 something unexpected happened. We read: “Right in the middle of the night there arose a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Be on your way out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins rose and put their lamps in order.” (Matthew 25:6, 7) Just when things seemed darkest, there was a call to get active! In 1918, Jesus, “the messenger of the covenant,” had come to Jehovah’s spiritual temple to inspect and cleanse God’s congregation. (Malachi 3:1) Now, anointed Christians needed to go out and meet him in the earthly courtyards of that temple. It was time for them to “shed forth light.”—Isaiah 60:1; Philippians 2:14, 15.

9 But wait! In the parable, some of the young women had a problem. Jesus continued: “The foolish said to the discreet, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are about to go out.’” (Matthew 25:8) Without oil, the lamps would not give light. Lamp oil thus reminds us of God’s Word of truth and his holy spirit, which empower true worshipers to be light bearers. (Psalm 119:130; Daniel 5:14) Before 1919, discreet anointed Christians had diligently sought to discern God’s will for them, despite their temporary weakened state. Hence, when the call came to give forth light, they were ready.—2 Timothy 4:2; Hebrews 10:24, 25.

10 Certain anointed ones, however, were unprepared to make sacrifices or expend personal effort—although they earnestly desired to be with the Bridegroom. So when it was time to get active in preaching the good news, they were not ready. (Matthew 24:14) They even tried to slow down their zealous companions, asking, in effect, for some of their oil supply. In Jesus’ parable, how did the discreet virgins respond? They said: “Perhaps there may not be quite enough for us and you. Be on your way, instead, to those who sell it and buy for yourselves.” (Matthew 25:9) Similarly, loyal anointed Christians in 1919 refused to do anything that would diminish their own capacity to bear light. Thus, they passed inspection.

11 Jesus concludes: “While [the foolish virgins] were going off to buy, the bridegroom arrived, and the virgins that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut. Afterwards the rest of the virgins also came, saying, ‘Sir, sir, open to us!’ In answer he said, ‘I tell you the truth, I do not know you.’” (Matthew 25:10-12) Yes, some were unprepared for the Bridegroom’s arrival. Thus, they failed inspection and lost the opportunity to attend the heavenly marriage feast. How tragic!

The Parable of the Talents

12 After illustrating discretion, Jesus went on to illustrate faithfulness. He said: “It is just as when a man, about to travel abroad, summoned slaves of his and committed to them his belongings. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, to still another one, to each one according to his own ability, and he went abroad.” (Matthew 25:14, 15) The man in the parable is Jesus himself, who “went abroad” when he ascended to heaven in the year 33 C.E. But before his ascension, Jesus committed “his belongings” to his faithful disciples. How?

13 During his earthly ministry, Jesus began to prepare a large field of activity by preaching the good news of the Kingdom throughout the land of Israel. (Matthew 9:35-38) Before he “went abroad,” he entrusted that field to his faithful disciples, saying: “Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:18-20) With these words, Jesus authorized his “slaves” to do business until his return, “each one according to his own ability.”

14 That expression indicates that not all first-century Christians had equal circumstances or possibilities. Some, like Paul and Timothy, were free to have the fullest possible share in the preaching and teaching work. The circumstances of others may have severely limited their freedom of action. For example, some Christians were slaves, and others were sickly, advanced in age, or had family responsibilities. Of course, certain congregation privileges were not open to all disciples. Anointed women and some anointed men did not teach in the congregation. (1 Corinthians 14:34; 1 Timothy 3:1; James 3:1) Still, whatever their personal situation, all of Christ’s anointed disciples—men and women—were assigned to engage in business, making good use of their opportunities and circumstances in the Christian ministry. Their modern-day counterparts do the same.

Inspection Time Begins!

15 The parable continues: “After a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them.” (Matthew 25:19) In 1914—certainly a long time after 33 C.E.—Christ Jesus began his royal presence. Three and a half years later, in 1918, he came to God’s spiritual temple and fulfilled Peter’s words: “It is the appointed time for the judgment to start with the house of God.” (1 Peter 4:17; Malachi 3:1) It was time to settle accounts.

16 What had the slaves, Jesus’ anointed brothers, done with the King’s “talents”? From 33 C.E. onward, including the years leading up to 1914, many had been working hard at Jesus’ “business.” (Matthew 25:16) Even during the first world war, they had shown a strong desire to serve the Master. Now it was fitting to give faithful ones new opportunities to ‘do business.’ The time of the end of this system of things had arrived. The good news had to be preached worldwide. “The harvest of the earth” had to be reaped. (Revelation 14:6, 7, 14-16) The final members of the wheat class had to be located and “a great crowd” of other sheep gathered in.—Revelation 7:9; Matthew 13:24-30.

17 Harvesttime is a joyful time. (Psalm 126:6) It is fitting, then, that when in 1919, Jesus entrusted his faithful anointed brothers with increased responsibility, he said: “You were faithful over a few things. I will appoint you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.” (Matthew 25:21, 23) Moreover, the joy of the Master as newly enthroned King of God’s Kingdom surpasses our imagination. (Psalm 45:1, 2, 6, 7) The faithful slave class share that joy by representing the King and increasing his interests on earth. (2 Corinthians 5:20) Their delight is seen in the prophetic words of Isaiah 61:10: “Without fail I shall exult in Jehovah. My soul will be joyful in my God. For he has clothed me with the garments of salvation.”

18 Sadly, some did not pass inspection. We read: “The one that had received the one talent came forward and said, ‘Master, I knew you to be an exacting man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering where you did not winnow. So I grew afraid and went off and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’” (Matthew 25:24, 25) Similarly, some anointed Christians had not engaged in “business.” Before 1914 they had not enthusiastically shared their hope with others, and they did not want to start in 1919. How did Jesus respond to their insolence? He took away all their privileges. They were ‘thrown out into the darkness outside, where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth would be.’—Matthew 25:28, 30.

The Inspection Continues

19 Of course, the majority of those who were to become Christ’s anointed slaves during the time of the end were not yet serving Jehovah when Jesus began his inspection in 1918. Did they miss out on the inspection? Not at all. The inspection process only began in 1918/19 when the faithful and discreet slave as a class passed the test. Individual anointed Christians continue under inspection until their sealing is made permanent. (Revelation 7:1-3) Realizing this, Christ’s anointed brothers are determined to keep on faithfully ‘doing business.’ They are determined to be discreet, keeping an abundant oil supply so that the light will shine brightly. They know that when each one reaches the end of his life course in faithfulness, Jesus will receive him into the heavenly dwelling place.—Matthew 24:13; John 14:2-4; 1 Corinthians 15:50, 51.

20 The great crowd of other sheep have imitated their anointed brothers. They are aware that their knowledge of God’s purposes brings great responsibility. (Ezekiel 3:17-21) Hence, with the help of Jehovah’s Word and holy spirit, they too keep their oil supply abundant through study and association. And they let their light shine, sharing in the work of preaching and teaching and thus ‘doing business’ along with their anointed brothers. However, anointed Christians are keenly aware that the talents were placed in their hands. They must render an account for the way the Lord’s belongings on earth are administered. Even though they are few in number, they cannot abdicate their responsibility to the great crowd. With this in mind, the faithful and discreet slave continues to take the lead in caring for the King’s business, grateful for the support of devoted members of the great crowd. These recognize the responsibility of their anointed brothers and feel privileged to work under their oversight.

21 Thus, although these two parables shed light on events in 1919 or thereabouts, they apply in principle to all true Christians throughout the last days. In this way, while the exhortation that Jesus gave at the end of the parable of the ten virgins applies in the first place to anointed Christians before 1919, in principle it still applies to every Christian. May all of us, then, take to heart Jesus’ words: “Keep on the watch, therefore, because you know neither the day nor the hour.”—Matthew 25:13.

[Footnotes]

In a comparable way, after the death of the apostles, “oppressive wolves” came from the ranks of anointed Christian elders.—Acts 20:29, 30.

WHEN DOES JESUS COME?

In Matthew chapters 24 and 25, Jesus is said to “come” in different senses. He does not need to move physically in order to “come.” Rather, he “comes” in the sense of turning his attention to mankind or to his followers, often for judgment. Thus, in 1914 he “came” to begin his presence as enthroned King. (Matthew 16:28; 17:1; Acts 1:11) In 1918 he “came” as messenger of the covenant and began judging those claiming to serve Jehovah. (Malachi 3:1-3; 1 Peter 4:17) At Armageddon, he will “come” to execute judgment on Jehovah’s enemies.—Revelation 19:11-16.

The coming (or, arriving) referred to a number of times at Matthew 24:29-44 and 25:31-46 is at “the great tribulation.” (Revelation 7:14) On the other hand, the coming referred to a number of times at Matthew 24:45 to 25:30 has to do with his judging professed disciples from 1918 onward. It would not be reasonable to say, for example, that the rewarding of the faithful slave, the judgment of the foolish virgins, and the judgment of the sluggish slave, who hid the Master’s talent, will take place when Jesus “comes” at the great tribulation. That would imply that many of the anointed will be found unfaithful at that time and will thus have to be replaced. However, Revelation 7:3 indicates that all of Christ’s anointed slaves will have been permanently “sealed” by that time.

Thanks for the information! Now I am beginning to see why they do not want anyone to read hebrew or greek...

The words Jesus uses to discribe that one is HAUTO meaning the same object or person. THis would mean that the person who was appointed has to be the same one that was chosen. Besides who was the steward from 100 AD until 1878? That is when you get into apostilistic sucsession (sorry about typing)
one last question and it is extremely important so please submit a quote if possible...

Is the "steward" getting this food from Christ and passing it along or are they making it up and getting Christ's okay some how?
There are multiple quotes stating that the information comes from on high through both Christ and the anointed in heaven, others may have the exact references as they go back to the begining of the modern Truth Movement in the 1800's.

Two of the consistent problems that keep reappearing in the Truth Movement groups is taking Scripture out of context and applying it in a cloistered or exclusive way and identifying some individual or elite inner group as specially chosen.

This is why it is important to follow the historical biblical record and try to stay grounded in its simple truths and examples. The early disciples had some difficulty with the human need to 'be first' or special. Some were trying to figure out how to have a better seat or position in the Kingdom of Heaven. For the most part in went away after Pentecost. You never read of the Apostles bragging or asking for special treatment, they even took correction as in Peter's case. Paul in 1 Cor.1:12+ talks about a problem that was developing with certain people again wanting to be special.

Our priviledge and duty is to walk humbly in our Master's footsteps, to keep the simple truths of Scripture alive and be a light in our communities. All the promises will come true exactly as written.
Whether it is in our life time or not is really a secondary issue, our reward is certain our hope is secure, Ro. 5:5

The Watchtower's modus operandi here is the same as it always is, acting as the Pharisee Gatekeepers trying to block everybody from going in.

In Yeshua's letters to the seven congregations in chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, there are some items that further disintegrate the notion that Jesus did any judging of anything back in 1919 or that he has judged anyone yet and given them a passing grade. It also further shows how utterly absurd is the notion that only among Jehovah's Witnesses will be found the slave that was faithful and discreet. God's people are spread throughout the world and will be awakened from their slumber very soon by a huge outpouring of the Holy Spirit!

Let's see if we can identify who today has the qualities of those described in the first letter.

To the congregation in Ephesus he says:

2 ‘I know your deeds, and your labor and endurance, and that [b]you cannot bear bad men, and that you put those to the test who say they are apostles, but they are not, and you found them liars.[/b]

Even though the GB has made themselves into apostles in a slightly more subtle way, they did a good job of exposing the overt Apostleship that the Pope claimed for himself through the smoke and mirrors deception that Peter was the Rock Mass, giving birth to the blasphemic lie of "Apostolic Succession".

Back in the Watchtower's heyday, while the light was still flickering a little, before the UN and pedophile scandals, the JW organization was a role model for moral behavior, and who can deny that at least outwardly, no other "Christian" religion that I know of demands such strict adherence. Hey, they even dictate what goes on in married bedrooms. :ok: So the "bad men" who practice casual sex and whatever else Christendom absolves for a price have not been tolerated, and rightly so. In that regard, the Witnesses get a good mark here from the Savior.

He goes on to say:

3 You are also showing endurance, and you have borne up for my name’s sake and have not grown weary. 4 Nevertheless, I hold [this] against you, that you have left the love you had at first.

5 “‘Therefore remember from what you have fallen, and repent and do the former deeds. If you do not, I am coming to you, and I will remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 6 Still, you do have this, that you hate the deeds of the sect of Nic·o·la´us, which I also hate.

The Bible students were still celebrating Christmas in 1919, so they were still Nicolaitans! Certainly, no one nowadays goes more to the extreme of avoiding pagan behavior that a JW, and rightly so. But WHEN did that happen? Not until much later than 1919! Who else hates Christmas like the JW's? Who?

Knightlock.

Here is my understanding of the Governing Body's teaching on this matter:

Their most recent interpretation of Matthew 24:45-47 appears on page 24 of the upcoming January 15, 2008 Watchtower:

When Christ inspected the faithful and discreet slave’ in 1918, he found those anointed ones on earth to be faithful in providing spiritual "food at the proper time." Hence, Jesus was pleased thereafter to appoint them "over all his belongings."

The appointment mentioned in 47 does not refer to Jesus' appointment to be his "faithful and discreet slave." They say that he appointed his "slave" in 33 C.E. and that somehow (not explained) that "slave" has existed as a "class" of true Christians (whoever they were at any given time) ever since.

And so after Jesus returned in 1914 he asked the question in verse 45 ("Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?") and then began examining the Society in 1918 to see if they were that "slave." The Governing Body says that they indeed were the only ones who had been faithful and discreet about the spiritual food they had been providing at the proper time.

And therefore as a reward for proving themselves to have been Jesus' "faithful and discreet slave," he rewarded them (Rutherford and his associates) by appointing them "over all his belongings" or "earthly interests." (verse 47)

Their claim to being "God's' faithful and discreet organization" today is totally dependent upon having received that Mathew 24:47 appointment in the spring of 1919.

Of course, when one makes the same examination the Governing Body says Jesus made, it is difficult to understand why Jesus would have been pleased about what he would have found. For example, when Raymond Franz examined the spiritual food that Russell and Rutherford had provided down will 1918-1919 he concluded the following:

"It would be an insult to Christ Jesus to say that he selected this organization on the basis of what it had been teaching as of 1919."

I concluded the same thing.

You asked, "Is the "steward" getting this food from Christ and passing it along or are they making it up and getting Christ's okay some how?"

All of their teachings are said to come from the Bible with God's help through Jesus Christ under the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. But once they realize a teaching is not true it means that they must have made that one up. But of course they don't explain it that way.

They prefer to call their teachings that turn out to be false as "past truths." Thereby not only avoiding the word "false," they get to use the word "truth" in its place!

There are so many holes in this I do not even know where to start.

You hit the nail on the head, there is no possible way that Jesus would have looked at this information and appointed them to anything.

It is becoming clear now why there is no way to access the old information via the watchtower library as people could look up the 'old light' and discover that it is some of the most absurd interpretation of scripture. Not to mention that they preached that Jesus' Kingdom came in 1878 and not 1914 for nearly sixty years is what clinches it as this would mean that Jesus gave them TWO dates for his kingdom.

God does not reinvent prophecy...they did.
Knightlock,

You said, "There is no way to access the old information."

Well, actually there is. This is why I like their "Proclaimers of God's Kingdom" book so much. It is still viewed as current and yet it gives access to some very important “old information” that Witnesses are not aware of.

The book acknowledges several very important former teachings that might begin to get some Witnesses’ attention (1) if they were able to notice what that book is willing to teach them, and (2) if they are able to get the sense of what those old teaching mean in connection with the Society’s interpretation of Matthew 24:45-47.

For example, there may not be one single Jehovah's Witness who realizes that according to the "Proclaimers" book the Society's first three presidents (Conley, Russell and Rutherford) never knew that Jesus had returned in 1914. It doesn't take much discernment to notice that that situation doesn't even come close to fitting the Society's interpretation of Matthew 24:45-47 and Luke 12:36-44

Dear Jesh,

You said this....and I agree, ("The Watchtower's modus operandi here is the same as it always is, acting as the Pharisee Gatekeepers trying to block everybody from going in.

("God's people are spread throughout the world and will be awakened from their slumber very soon by a huge outpouring of the Holy Spirit!")

The letters to the 7 congregations seems to say that his bride will come away from these churches and repent because his Bride is within different religions, because they lsiten to what the Holy spirit tells them.

Where does it say in the bible that God has his chosen ones all in one place? I can't find a place . It says that his angels go and gather the chosen ones from the four corners of the earth, which means they are spread all over the earth in different congrgations (faiths/religions). The ones they gather are the ones sighing and groaning over all the fighting of one's religion over anothers, devisions from with-in the different congregations, which stops the free efflux of the holy Spirit, retarding and stopping up the Holy Spirits outpouring they are waiting for and for the full out-pouring of.

A house devided against itself cannot stand, and so then cannot be pure enough in heart for the great outpouring of Jehovah's pure virgin Spirit to fill up, because the Holy Spirit(Jehovah's glory) cannot enter anything that is stained or hiding vile things. His spirit cannot enter men who think they already posess all they need , with his own wisdom, his presumes he already has all there is to know and disputes with others over who has it all right in their own eyes, denying himself by his haughtiness free entrance of the Holy Spirit. If he would only admit to himself that he is a foolish and miserable, then the Bars .....(the Pharasee gatekeepers blocking the entrace of the Holy Spirit)would be removed, and light would come to them, and then they would know that the Holy Spirit is already being given throughout the earth at this time.

His chosen ones hear his voice and awaken and this which is now happening due to a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit, by Jehovah's mercy to those who are lowly and growning from with-in. I know that this is already happening now, and will continue till a full birthing of his sons and daughters happens. These are the firstfruits, firstborn ones, who will just know they were lost and was once in darkness, were once dead, but are now alive in the power of the Holy Spirit, and have now been awakened by the Holy Spirit fire with-in them. This is because they did not give up in their search for Jehovah, and his Son, and they were drawn to him because he can read the hearts of those who really love him, and tremble and fear him. They are being called now for the Manifestations of Divine Knowledge, and are chiefly given forth for the Children of the Kingdom, for a preparation-work to receive the Spirt of Wisdoms instructions of the The Everlasting Kingdom Good News which is much higher than the earths manmade ones, and which will crush corrupt and fleshly religions who have a darkness and evil root of self pride-self love, and a striving over who should be the greatest in His Kingdom, when Jesus already said, the one who is least and childlike(pure in heart) will win the race.

With LOVE,
New Heart
