Good afternoon all ... :giverose::grouphug:
I thought I would like to run something by ya'll if I could ... :happyheart:
Hmmm how to say it ...? :thinking:
It is in regards to the 'text' ... :read:
Some have wondered why do we put up the 'Watchtower's text' and suggested that we should put up our own ... as some have 'gone past' the Watchtower ...
I have been mulling over this for a while to see how this could done so that 'everyone' wins ... and by 'everyone' I mean those who are still going to the KH's ... those who might be wondering what is still being talked about ... those who are in transition ... those who may have family and friends and they use the text as a 'commonality' for something to talk about ... and for those who may want to have nothing to do with Watchtower stuff at all ...
Soooooooooo I came up with this idea last night ... :sleepy:
What if we put up a 'daily Watchtower text' in the Watchtower section of the board ...
As well as ...
Have a 'daily scripture text' where it is now ... but just whatever encouraging Scripture and thought along with it ...?
or
We can keep it just as it is now ...
Just an idea ... :blush:
Any other thoughts ...
Luv as always ... BR :sheepy: :bouncyhearts:
For those who don't consider Pastor Russell to be the evil slave, he who the society still claims to be their founder, but have polluted and/or rejected and/or repackaged most of what he taught, here's something that might be of interest to some.

Daily Heavenly Manna
And now, why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized. Acts 22:16
THERE is a directness in this address that is worthy of being copied by all who have an influence upon others, and who are seeking to bring them along in the right way. Urge them to promptness, to full and complete obedience, to a full confession of the Lord and the Truth. If they are not inclined to promptly obey after their eyes of faith have seen the Lord, and after their ears have heard His voice, they will be much less likely after a while, when the world and the flesh and the devil will say to them, Do not be an extremist; be moderate; do not make a full consecration of yourself to the Lord. Your neighbors and friends will think you beside yourself, and it will interfere with your hopes and prospects, and turn your friends into enemies. It will cost you too much; go slowly. Z. Exceeding Great and Precious Promise
"When he, the spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: . . . and he will show you things to come." Jno. 16:13
The Apostles at Pentecost received an illumination of the mind which enabled them to understand . . . the deep things of God. . . . Jesus had this . . . thought in mind when He declared that there were certain things His disciples could not understand at that time, but would know afterwards, because He would send the Holy Spirit, which would bring all things to their remembrance whatsoever He had spoken; and would show them things to come. This was not only true with the Apostles, but has been true with respect to all the members of the Body of Christ throughout this age. . . . It is to these the Bible has promised, "He will show you things to come." It is these that are to be guided into all Truth as it shall become due. It is for these that the Word of God is a Storehouse, from which "things both new and old" are to be produced under the Spirit's guidance, as they become "meat in due season" to the "household of faith." Songs in the Night
Through Him we...have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Eph 2:18
WE ARE never safe from being sidetracked unless we go often to the throne of grace; we cannot be filled unless we keep very close to the great Fountain from which our infilling comes. We must daily carry our earthen pitcher to this heavenly Fountain to be replenished; for we are leaky vessels. We are not to feel discouraged if we do not find in ourselves the rapid growth that we desire to see. Strong, sturdy trees that can withstand the fiercest storms are not developed in a day. The growth is a slow, steady process. Z'16-183 R5912:5 (Hymn 229)

Hi BR
I think that is a good idea - we could have one daily text from the WT for those - as you said - that still get encouraged by them or in transition - and a Paradise Cafe text - I personally feel that a theme of texts could be used daily - ie the theme of Love - for a month all the scriptures showing how to love would be very encouraging and upbuilding - then the next month another theme - ie - wisdom etc.
Hi there Billy ...:hibye::D
It is SO VERY GOOD to 'see' you again my sister ... :friends: it has been toooooo long since I saw you here ... :giverose:
What a WONDERFUL idea ...!! :cheer:
I LOVE it ... :heartbeat:
I hope some others will check in with their input ...
If it goes over ok ... would you be willing to put together the first 6 months of 'themes' we could use ... and we'll see how it goes ...? :love:
Just a suggestion ... looking forward to more input ... :thumbup::happyheart:
Luv as always to you dear one ... hope your days are beginning to be a bit brighter ... :heartbeat: BR :sheepy: :bouncyhearts:
Hi all ...
We have had another suggestion that perhaps we could put up the "Watchtower" text in the watchtower section and then just the Scriptures in the daily text section (as Iso had already been doing so well) and make comments based on the Scriptures and then if anyone wishes to compare between the two they can ...
Another good idea that they thought might be simpler ... :thumbup:
If this proves to be the one that will be accepted ... I also think that we could add a 'theme section' you mentioned Billy on its own so we can have the best of both worlds!!:thumbsup:
