Happy Yom Kippur
Greetings fellow slaves!!
I want to put this question out there, to see other peoples thoughts regarding this matter -->
Where are we in the stream of time?
10. Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care,
11. trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. 1 Peter 1.
We see , it is God will for us to seek His deep things , to dig and to search for, to find His will and to reach the knowledge He wants us to know !
But there is something strange : we, of our part, want to know others peoples toughts instead of wanting to know (first ) God's thoughts !
We need to change the priorities .
So , according to God's word , and works ,
where are we in the stream of time ?
Hey Rus Virgil!!
Thanks for your thoughts!

Rus -- Of course I want to know Gods thoughts, however I feel it is somewhat presumptuous to think that I have the monopoly on what God is thinking - hence my asking the question.
Heres a scripture that made me think about things -->
"He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son." -- Revelation 21:6-7 (NIV)
Ive always perceived this scripture to be somewhere in the far, far away future. However, it is said that whoever overcomes will inherit all that is mentioned -- and the part that got me thinking, was the part that says "I will be his God, and he will be my son". How do you reconcile the timing of that event, with this scripture >
"because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." -- Romans 8:14 (NIV)
Revelation 21 talks about New Jerusalem, so I take the timing of Revelation 21 to be somewhat future -- however, Romans 8 says that all who are led by Gods spirit are sons of God. How can you be a son of God now, if Revelation 21 is talking more about something that is yet future?
This is just one of the reasons why I am asking the question about the timing of where we are. Yes, I am interested in Gods thoughts, im interested in what God has shown my fellow slaves -- if you care to share your thoughts, please do so, if not, thats ok.
May LOVE be with you!
your bro -- beau!

Hi, Reign-Beau!
Right where we are supposed to be.
Your friend and brother, ... iso...
Matthew 24:4...
"And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
“For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress."

Where are we in the stream of time?
We are in the in the period of our Lord's return, he gave us the signs in Matthew 24. We are also in the "Last Days" Paulk gave us the signs in 2 Timothy 3

Hi ,
I have a question that I was not sure of. I was wondering if any of you might know the answer? How long did Noah have to build the ark before the flood came? I thought I heard 40 years before.

Hi Beau
Interesting question. I personally dont think we are living in the "last days" of Matt 24 and 2 Tim 3. I feel those scriptures dealt with the last days of the Jewish system. I could be wrong though.

That would mean that the Lord returned in 70 CE.

RE: Where are we in the stream of time?
Is the human family at this time experiencing the time prior to all hidden things being revealed?
(Luke 8:17) For there is nothing hidden that will not become manifest, neither anything carefully concealed that will never become known and never come into the open.
(Matthew 10:26) Therefore do not fear them; for there is nothing covered over that will not become uncovered, and secret that will not become known.
(Mark 4:22) For there is nothing hidden except for the purpose of being exposed; nothing has become carefully concealed but for the purpose of coming into the open.
(Luke 12:2) But there is nothing carefully concealed that will not be revealed, and secret that will not become known.
(1 Corinthians 4:5) Hence do not judge anything before the due time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring the secret things of darkness to light and make the counsels of the hearts manifest, and then each one will have his praise come to him from God.
Has this happened?
