You know it is claimed that the information published in the WT publications is said to come by means of the Holy Spirit. I never knew that the Holy Spirit copyrights anything. I thought it was only humans who copyright their works.

The Tower just wants to hide the past. They would NEVER say what they said in the April 1st 1972 WT again! Although thats is how any religion should be judged and according to them they were inspected by Jesus based on their written word of that time! If Jesus were really to judge them as F&D based on the things they were writing during the time leading up to 1919 they would have failed miserably!
The evidence shows they were not faithful or discreet in their message to the world that Christ had arrived! They were faithful in carrying out a false message of Christ arrival and in predicting several dates for his arrival and for Armageddon.

Yes, many of the things they were teaching in the period when they were supposedly inspected by Jesus (1918-19) are no longer taught today. Also I hear some bought war bonds during this period.

I wonder what would have happened IF the what?tower (don't need to breach any copyrights here) had been factual in their appraisal of the last days. Would they have filed suit against someone reiterating their correctness? No...it's only because they weren't correct that they filed suit.
