Good morning on this nice sunny day my family!:hibye::D:grouphug:

I hope today finds you all well and spiritually uplifted!

Todays text for today is from Phil. 2:6 ...

''Although he was existing in God's form. (Jesus) gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.''

Watchtower comments:

God's greatest act of humility and love was that of sending his beloved firstborn Son to be born on earth and raised as a human for the salvation of mankind. (John 3:16) Jesus taught us the truth about his heavenly Father and then gave up his perfect human life to take away 'the sin of the world.'' (John 1:29, 18:37) Perfectly reflecting his Father, including Jehovah's humility, Jesus was willing to do what God asked of him. That was the greatest example of humility and love ever set by one of God's creatures. Not all appreciated Jesus humility, his enemies even considered him to be ''the lowest one of mankind.'' (Daniel 4:17) Nonetheless, the apostle Paul realized that his fellow believers should imitate Jesus and thus be humble in their dealings with one another.....I Cor. 11:1: Phil.2:3,4. w 10/15/05 6,7a.

My comments: :giverose:

How ironic that this Scripture is today's text. As I was walking our dog yesterday and talking to Jehovah and yes even said a few words to our dear Lord as well ...;) I was thanking them for all they had done for us and will yet do ...

I got to thinking about Christ as a human being ... walking on the same ground as we do, breathing in the same air as we do, (albeit ours is a wee bit more polluted now than then :( ) feeling the same human emotions that we feel and so on ...

Yes, our Lord KNOWS 'US' ... what it MEANS to be human ... and hence can really relate to what we feel and why we feel it and have true understanding and empathy for us ...

His LOVE for those he helped to create is truly amazing ... so much love had he that when the time came for him to come down he did so without hesitation.

How many of us as parents would give our life for our children? I would hazard a guess that most would ... imperfect as we are ...

Christ having a part in creation no doubt feels a CONNECTION with us much like his Father, perhaps that of a 'parent' for a 'child' ... and as a 'parent' wants what's BEST for their offspring ... even if it means sacrificing themselves to do so ...

Yes, Christ Jesus showed humility and self-sacrificing love to come to us! And as he is our exemplar, we would want to show those same qualities toward one another wouldn't we? Not thinking ourselves better than our brothers or those who are not our brothers (but hopefully will be some time in the future) and being willing to SHOW the REAL CHRIST-LIKE love :cheekkiss: we have for them ... not just SAYING it ...:(

Actions speak louder than words as they say ... and did not Christ's actions PROVE how much he loved and continues to love us!:heartbeat::happyheart:

Let us follow that lead of love to the very best of our abilities ... for only good will result ... both to us and to those we show it to!!:heartbeat::grouphug:

Have a really wonderful day and hopefully add a thought or two of your own! :coffeeread: :post:

Luv as always BR :sheepy: :bouncyhearts:
Selflessness!!

19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

they just want us to live.. and be happy :cheer:
