Crikey summer must be nearly over!

I opened a magazine which came out yesterday, and on the second page was an advert for an artificial christmas tree, with banners saying,

I didn't know I needed one, but guess I do. A de rigeur', must have.

So it is official....we are heading for Christmas and all store owners will be spraying their 'tat' gold and planning to flog it off before the end of the year runs out.

every now and then the store owners here ban together and stage a real special event called ""Christmas In July'' and pretend they are running a Christmas sale. The store windows are all done up with trees and wreaths and artificial snow--I don't know how much they sell But I do know people aren't that crazy about it--in July we are usually still hoping we catch a bit of summer and now as it is August 8th summer here Is about over--and fall is moving in--however-- I Do Love Fall ...Christmas In July?--not so much .......
