My son was in a car crash today. They went off the road.
He appears to be unhurt, though I suspect muscles will start complaining tomorrow. It is the first time he has had an airbag explode in his face. The driver hit a pot-hole, a bend and swerved.
His job entails travel and I suspect always will. I pray Jehovah will protect him, he is a sweet person who enjoys working for charity.
vicky (going into mumsy mode).
Vicky,
I am glad to hear the car crash was not more severe. But I am sure with that air bag deploying he will definately have many aches and pain.
There is nothing like hearing about your own child being in an accident.
You both will be in my prayers. And thanks to the Father that he is safe.
Love

Vicky, I am so sorry to hear about your son's accident. We can give thanks that it wasn't worse, I suppose. You know that you and your loved ones/family/friends are already in my prayers, always. :giverose:
your friend and brother, ... iso...
I will keep up the prayer for you and yours for a safe journey thru this world. as also for all of the rest of the fam..
Whew. Close call. That can be scary. I'm so glad it wasn't worse.
Hey sis ...:friends:
Sorry to hear about your son ... glad that it wasn't more 'serious' ...
When something like this happens it sure brings our 'mortality' and 'frailty' as humans to the fore doesn't it ... and the preciousness of our relationship with those involved doesn't it ...:cheekkiss::grouphug:
Say hello to him for us ... and tell him to rest, and soak any bumps and bruises ... perhaps using epsom (or whatever its called) salts might help a wee bit ...
May Jah bless all of your family ... and of course all of us here ...
Lots of love hugs and kisses ... BR :sheepy: :bouncyhearts:
Hi Vicky,
What a shock, Vicky. I don´t want to even think about having to hear that something like this has happened to one of my kids, sis.
How fortunate are you both that it doesn´t come to something worse.
My prayers and thoughts goes out to you and your beloved son.

Piglet, I'd have never guessed that this had happened to your son when we talked on skype earlier. Tell him that I wish him a speedy recovery.
I pray that our loving God will turn this "close call" into something beneficial, as he often does. Life does hold many surprising turns in the road.
Love, Rez :giverose:
hi vicky,
I will join in your prayer too:heartbeat:

I'm so sorry Vicky.

:shocked:Oh dear! I'm afraid you may be right - he will feel it tomorrow for sure. A friend of mine was in a crash and was unhurt by the collision itself - but suffered no small amount of trauma from the air-bag deployment. She had facial burns from the powder(it peeled like a sun-burn!) and a bruised jaw, stiff neck, sore back... for a couple of weeks. So he will definitely be in my prayers, lifted up. You are always in my prayers, dear sis. :friends::cheekkiss:
Much love, Willa
:peace:
Wow! So glad he was able to walk away from it relatively unscathed. But I do agree with the aches-n-pains he'll feel tomorrow -- I'm just glad that it's all he'll feel!
Love to ya!
