Full Version: Questioning JW's

Hello Friends...I just got through visiting the EW DB...things seem to be getting back to normal.

I feel pain for one's who go there and are pouring out their hearts about the condition of their congregations....or about concerns of certain doctrines...or even questioning if JW's are the true religion..... and all they get from other members is to stay and take what they need....just stay and listen to all the lies....

No wonder they are depressed....no wonder they are questioning...they know something is wrong....but then they are told to stay:fear:...it seems to me their spirituality is being destroyed...they are being asked to put their faith in men...they are not being lead to their real teacher and master....but to sayings of men.....how sad for them...

They can't see past the WTS......they think the scripture which says to endure to the end..means to endure in an organization....they are blinded...and can't see the true meaning of enduring in Christ and in our heavenly Father.....they have all the extra things from men ...commands of men...which are making them spiritually sick.

They can't distinguish between being a slave of the Lord..from being a WTS slave....and what do they get when they are so sick and need answers....just stay ....just stay, and continue to idolize men....

Now, yes we do need to gather together....but not to a place which requires exclusive devotion...unquestioning loyalty or else.

All our collective prayers are powerful...to help our brothers and sister have their eyes opened to Christ....the Father has drawn us to Christ, and for this I'm so very thankful.....Christ is doing a dismantling of all religions and their sayings and bringing back true worship and faith .....all glory going to the Father....soon all religious institutions will be gone..along with all things put in place by men.

your sis Sandi

PS..lets pray for the ones over there who are in need of answers:cry:
:tomatoed:

Yes, Flower, they need our prayers.. I just got out in Sept of 2005 and I am still in an angry period.. But I'm trying to move on and pray for them.. and wish them well.
Hello, well it is good to know that someone care for other.Well it might be true that few are having some kind of issue regarding the faith, but it is also true that many are well happy in their service to Jehovah. Those many also understand that they are not slave of the WT or men but rather imitating Christ in their service of Jehovah.JW'S never teach to be slave of men or an entity but rather to the Almighty Jehovah.

As a good advice from you it is good to pray for those who might have faith issues.I will.

The thing is, Sword, is people can teach things without saying it out loud. Like the obedience to the G Body.

Selam SOJ,

In order to find out whether you indeed are serving God an active JW or are on an advertising campaign for a printing Corp., I suggest you tell the elders in your congregation that you´re visiting this site and see what happens.

Hi SWORDOFJAH....

Well I'm happy you are seeing things the way you are...but SOJ....I'm talking about the ones who are hurting... the ones who can't see the difference in Jehovah and Christ and the WTS....they can not separate them....as the WTS themselves have equated themselves the only channel....they consider themselves the mouth piece of God...and to question them is to question God.....do you not see something wrong with not being able to disagree with mere men.....do you not see them equating missing a meeting to a sin against Jehovah....do you not see them idolizing the WTS....but we can't even talk too, too , much about Christ our Lord and Saviour...but can praise the GB and render service to the GB...but not Christ.....

your sis Sandi
Ignorance is bliss!

What you don't know can't hurt you!

Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies!

This is worldly rationale, my good friends. They work in the world to achieve worldly goals. Spiritually speaking, they are formulas for disaster.

Truth is strength. Strength is the basis for all things. To be strong enough to survive, spiritually-speaking, you need to be absolutely true.

Destroy the facade that keeps you from God. To paint oneself as a shiny, happy Christian is not the same as being one.

Well as you said, some  can't see the difference in Jehovah and Christ and the WTS....they can not separate them....

First the brothers never equal a legal entity with Jehovah and his commands. You said:idolizing the WTS....never such teaching have been presented,If someone have done that...plainly a mistake of that person. Also they teach that all worship should go to Jehovah. Now,we can't confuse obedience to those who take the lead and to worship them. The first is a biblical advice.

“Be obedient to those who are taking the lead among you and be submissive, for they are keeping watch over your souls as those who will render an account.”—HEBREWS 13:17.

Hi SWORDOFJAH

Re: "Also they teach that all worship should go to Jehovah."

Do they (FD Slave Class) not also demand complete trust in them? (See chapter three of Organized To Do Jehovah's Will publication).

To whom should a Christian put complete trust....We know the answer, do we not?

Christians offer exclusive devotion to Jehovah by listening to Him. Jehovah tells us to listen to His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, our one and only Leader. The one to put complete trust and faith in.

Psalm 146:3...

" Do not put YOUR trust in nobles,
Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs."

1 Corinthians 2:4 - 5

"...;and my speech and what I preached were not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a demonstration of spirit and power, that YOUR faith might be, not in men’s wisdom, but in God’s power.

Hello my brother SOJ....it is good you love Jehovah and hopefully know your Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus.....

thinking back....and speaking for myself...i did not know the difference in the commands of men and what the word of God was saying...I was hanging on every word coming from the GB as coming directly from Jehovah...its for these ones I pray .....I know....I have been in their shoes...loyalty to any religion, in place of the Father and the Son is wrong.....and I percieved by being loyal to the WTS....I was being loyal to the God and Father of us all and to his Son.

Take care of yourself:giverose:

Of course we should trust Jehovah,“Those knowing your name will trust in you.”—PSALM 9:10.

Also there is no wrong in trusting fellow servants. We should trust our dear family members and our loyal friends. There is nothing wrong in trusting other people. But still the brothers never said to worship them or anything besides the Almighty Jah.

My dear lady, the brothers always tell us that the word of God is written in the Bible. They are merely servants of Jehovah like us trying to please Jah and help others to know him and his purposes.

Dear SWORDOFJAH

Re: "There is nothing wrong in trusting other people."

There is nothing wrong with trusting people. I trust my spouse, workmates and children etc.; yet trust is relative. A trust in someone can be broken. A marriage vow can be broken, therefore trust can be shattered.

The Society/FD Slave Class is demanding COMPLETE trust; to the extent of not questioning decisions made by them. When imperfect men such as the group that have taken on the titles Faithful Discreet Slave Class (represented by The Governing Body), demand unquestioning loyalty, they are demanding something that is not due them. Reflect on the word 'one' in this scripture...

" Neither be called ‘leaders,’ for YOUR Leader is one, the Christ." (Matthew 23:10...)

If an individual was to say to you, "I have God's approval, put COMPLETE trust in me by following all of my instructions"....would you say "sure no problem." It would not make sense to do this, as scripture indicate we should test every inspired expression...
1 John 4:1..."Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world."

No one individual qualifies for complete trust in them. The principle, though, applies to any amount of men; one, ten or a hundred. Christians have one Leader, Christ Jesus.

One of the reasons this is important: If one puts trust in men instead of Christ, you may agree with decisions that are contrary to Jehovah's laws and principles. The Society has shown by their actions that they became friends of the world by associating themselves with the United Nations as an NGO. To qualify to be an NGO they were required to promote United Nations agenda. All that shared (including myself) in distributing magazines that contained United Nations information and articles, I feel, have shared in being friends with the world, thus have violated an important principle.

Agreeing to the UN charter is also another requirement to associate with the UN as an NGO. This is even more serious, as the UN charter includes arrangement for taking and offering human life.

This is a quote..." At least 22 U.N. peacekeepers and civilian staff were killed in attacks worldwide last year, including six who died in the Israel-Hezbollah war in southern Lebanon, the U.N. Staff Union said Tuesday.

The number of deaths was down from the 32 U.N. personnel killed in 2005,"

I hope that you understand SWORDOFJAH some of the reasons why putting complete trust in any other than Christ our Lord is not what pleases Jehovah.

Christian love,

gogh
Personally, I believe the JWs will do fine in the resurrection with no more information. Should a JW be interested in the heavenly hope and running for the prize, that person will somehow end up in contact with the proper teachers. Looking for those who are called of God and have an ear to hear.

That is the beauty of believing the ransom for ALL. I believe I see God's plan, and understand that the Gospel Age is for calling out a people for His name, and the others will learn after the resurrection.

God bless.
Howdy watcher,

Re: " Should a JW be interested in the heavenly hope and running for the prize,..."

Romans 9:11...

"... for when they had not yet been born nor had practiced anything good or vile, in order that the purpose of God respecting the choosing might continue dependent, not upon works, but upon the One who calls,..."
