Good Day everyone ...

Well it has been quite a week so far and seems we are settling in quite nicely.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their kindness as we all adjust to the learning curve of this new forum software.

We are aware of some of the requests that have been suggested and we will do our best to try accommodate these request as soon as we can.

Some have asked for a shoutbox and spellcheck however these features are not ready for this version of forum software and is currently being updated.

We recommend for spellcheck that users could use Mozilla Firefox as their browser as it has spell check built in that works on the forum.

Also for those using Internet Explorer as their browser IESpell is a great addon that allows for spell checking in the forum via your own browser.

As most are aware we had a server hiccup the other night and it was server side with the host as they seemed to have lost a bank of computers ... we hope this was not too stressful for you all. We are just glad that they fixed it with little or no loss of data.

Also just to repeat what was said on another thread ... all PM's are private and can not be seen or read by the Site Admin Team or anyone ... while there is a plugin that can allow for this ... it will never be installed as we feel that PM's are and should stay private.

Also in the interest of privacy and security all passwords are not viewable in anyway to the Site Admin Team or anyone. So if you ever need it because you may have forgot ... you will have to use the password recovery feature on the login page. You can change your password anytime in the User CP.

Also we got the PayPal Donations Button up and live and we want to thank and all who have and who can donate as we as a group are sharing the cost of running this community ... no one person is in charge of this site it is a group effort. It was suggested that button be more visible and we have been trying to make this so but it seem this too is a update issue in the works from the software developers.

Well that is a bit of an update and once again thank you "all" for being so understanding and patient as we continue to learn as we grow.

Have a great day! :D

Warmly,
PC Site Admin Team
HELLO PC SITE ADMIN TEAM...HOW ARE YOU

I HAVE A SUGGESTION....IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE THE RECENT THREADS TO THE LEFT OF THE SCREEN AND TO THE RIGHT OF THE SCREEN A SHOUT BOX MAYBE AS WE DID AT THE OTHER DB...
Greetings,
Does anyone know how to insert a picture from ones personal computer into a 'reply'. :questioning:

When doing it as an avitar there is a 'BROWSE" button that takes you to your personal pictures folder. But I don't see that option when I am making a reply to someone.

Not all photos can be 'linked' to off of the internet, so I have to download them to my computer, but then get stuck. :headbang:

Thank you in advance.....
Hi Roses,

You can upload pictures from your computer to a free account at photo bucket. Then you can import from there. Hope this helps.
